In 2017, the municipalities of Corman Park, Saskatoon, Martensville, Warman, and Osler came together under the Partnership for Growth (P4G) banner to create a P4G Regional Plan and an integrated planning district to replace the current Corman Park-Saskatoon planning district. By working in partnership on land use, development, and infrastructure, the P4G municipalities are striving to ensure a proactive and coordinated approach to future growth.

On August 13, 2020, the P4G Regional Oversight Committee endorsed the Planning and Administration Committee recommended P4G District Official Community Plan.

Following a Joint Councils Public Hearing on September 24, 2020, each of the partner municipal councils adopted bylaws approving the P4G District Official Community Plan. The RM of Corman Park and the City of Saskatoon also gave notice of their intent to repeal the existing Corman Park-Saskatoon Planning District Official Community Plan Bylaws. However, please note that until the P4G District Official Community Plan is approved by the Province, the Corman Park-Saskatoon Planning District Official Community Plan Bylaws remain in effect.

The P4G District Official Community Plan is the cornerstone of the proposed new P4G Planning District. Following approval of a new District Zoning Bylaw by Corman Park, expected early in 2021, the bylaws will be forwarded to the Province for approval and formal establishment of the Planning District.
